Round Table on the Topic: Russia and Europe - Reloading. New Prospects for Cooperation

On 7 June 2019 a round table was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moscow on the topic of Russia and Europe - Reloading. New Prospects for Cooperation. Its participants summed up the results of the elections to the European Parliament, discussed options for developing relations between Russia and the European Union from the perspective of Brexit and strengthening of Euroscepticism in Europe.
The moderation was done by Sergey Markov, Director of the Institute for Political Studies, General Secretary of the Russian-Turkish public forum.
The participants were addressed by:
- Svyatoslav Andrianov - Director of the Center for Political Analysis and Information Security, International Public Organization;
- Maxim Shevchenko - journalist, TV presenter, member of the Izborsk Club, Member of the Legislative Assembly of the Vladimir Region of the VII convocation;
- Prof. Karel Rais - Member of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Science and Education, Culture, Youth and Sports;
- Mikhail Delyagin - Doctor of Economics, Full State Advisor to the Russian Federation, Grade 2, Editor-in-Chief of the Free Thought magazine.
The event was attended by deputies of the State Duma, diplomats, representatives of the expert community of Russia, Germany, India, China, the Czech Republic and Turkey.
