Svyatoslav Andrianov was Included in the Russian Committee for the Celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the UN

The Director of the Center for Political Analysis and Information Security took part in the first meeting of the members of the Russian Public Committee for the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the United Nations that took place on 12 April 2019 at MGIMO (University) at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Russian public committee included representatives of the modern school of diplomacy, business, politics, the media, science and creativity, and public figures. The United Nations Association of Russia carries out the coordinating work in the committee. The rector of MGIMO, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Anatoly Torkunov chairs the Association.
In his welcoming speech to the members of the UN-75 committee he noted that the UN had been a center for regulating international relations and coordinating world politics for the last 75 years, which had proven its necessity and endowed it with unique legitimacy. The anniversary is an occasion to draw the attention of the public to such important aspects of the UN's work as peacekeeping and security.
The Russian Public Committee for the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the UN implements a large plan of events. Thus, the Moscow International Model of the UN named after Vitaly Churkin dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Organization and the 75th anniversary of MGIMO will be held in April. The United Nations Association of Russia together with MGIMO plans to organize a number of regional UN Models (in eight regions of Russia) and to publish a report entitled Regions of Russia and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Photo exhibitions, forums, international conferences and round-table discussions dedicated to the UN will be organized both at Russian and foreign venues.
The leadership of the working group of the UN-75 Committee is entrusted to the first deputy chairman of the United Nations Association of Russia, the head of the UNESCO Chair at MGIMO, Alexey Borisov.
Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the RF Sergey Zheleznyak, the 1st deputy chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs Sergey Kislyak, member of the Federation Council Vladimir Dzhabarov, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the RF Yuri Levitsky and other prominent members took an active part in the work of the UN-75 Committee that made specific proposals to the Committee's action plan.
