Behind the scenes of Russian politics
In 2020, the Center for Political Analysis and Information Security launched the "Behind the Scenes of Russian Politics" project aimed at preparing and conducting a series of training seminars on the internal and external policy of the Russian Federation for young professionals from Germany: experts on Eastern Europe, young politicians, scientists and journalists.
The main goal of the project is to promote the spread of the ideals of peace, mutual respect and understanding between people of Russia and Germany to reach sustainable development.
The concept of the project was developed in accordance with Declaration on the Preparation of Societies for Life and Peace, adopted by the UN General Assembly resolution 33/73 of 15 December 1978, guided by the lofty goal of educating peoples and providing them with conditions for joint coexistence and cooperation in an atmosphere of peace, equality, mutual trust and understanding.
The "Behind the Scenes of Russian Politics" project not only allows young representatives of the German elite to form an objective opinion on Russian politics, but also invites them to an open dialogue with representatives of Russian state authorities, as well as the scientific and expert community.
As part of training seminars, young German specialists visit the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Economic Development, the State Duma, the Federation Council, the Public Chamber of Russia, the Presidential Administration, the Russian Academy of Sciences, as well as Russian ”think tanks.”
In the context of the growing information confrontation between Russia and the West, the project presents a unique opportunity for direct, frank and unbiased dialogue for decision-makers in Russia and young leaders of politics, journalism, the expert and academic community in Germany.
